    What is Indivisible?

    We are a grassroots movement of thousands of local Indivisible groups with a mission to strengthen and rebuild our democracy which is under critical threat. We are a broad based, massive, organized, peaceful, pro-democracy movement . There are more than 2000 local indivisible groups. There are 10 new groups each day.

    Educating voters is essential to a thriving democracy. We provide resources and workshops to inform citizens about their rights, the voting process, and the importance of their participation in elections.     What’s happening in Lake County, CA?

    We feel this is a critical and historic year. 2025 is a fresh start for our new local indivisible group. This is the year that Trump and operatives are trying to overthrow our democracy AND this is the year that people at the grassroots level are rising up en mass to resist MAGA and protect our democracy.

    We advocate for social and economic justice within our community. By addressing systemic inequalities and fighting for equitable policies, we strive to create a just society where every voice is heard and valued. Join us in this vital work.     Advocacy for Justice and Our Community

    Lake County has already been affected during the Trump administration’s first 100 days. Immigrants have been threatened and arrested without due process. They have been shipped to foreign prisons without due process. Immigrants in our community are our neighbors. They work in our farms and vineyards. They are entitled to respect and due process of law.

    Cuts in grants are already affecting our ability to mitigate wild fire hazards.

    If the current MAGA budget passes and cuts Medicaid that will have significant impact on our local hospitals and clinics and will affect everyone's ability to get quality healthcare.

    The list goes on.

    What will our Indivisible Lake County CA 2025 do?

    Right now we are organizing and building our membership. We actively support local demonstrations. We are already working with our local congressional office to support neighboring districts that have Republican representation. We will assist citizens in those communities in pressuring their representatives to vote against massive cuts in the budget which will affect local services. It is a budget that gives huge tax breaks to billionaires!

    We plan to:

    • Link up and support other local indivisible groups in neighboring cities and counties.
    • Keep you informed.
