Peaceful mass protests matter. They show public resistance, build community, and catalyze broader civic courage--especially with the courts and legislators. In the face of rising authoritarianism, this is one of our most powerful tools.

CONGRESS PASSED THE UGLY BUDGET BILL
We lost this big one. But barely. THIS BUDGET BILL, passed on 7/3/25, represents the largest transfer of American wealth from vulnerable poor to ultra wealthy in American history. Estimated to add $5 TRILLION to the national debt by the slimmest of margins on party lines. It massively funds a DOMESTIC policing force (via ICE).
Now we must mobilize to resist. A place to start is to demand the State AGs fight ICE overreach.
