No Kings -

Oct 18. Lakeport. Noon.

UPDATE:

Join concerned community members from across Lake County at Lakeport’s Old Courthouse Museum Square on Main Street at noon on Saturday, October 18, 2025, to take part in a nationwide, broad-based, peaceful protest rally: “NO KINGS - October Mobilization.”

This is the second NO KINGS Nationwide rally and is expected to be even larger than the record-setting protest on June 14. The first No Kings Day, designed to coincide with Trump’s birthday military parade, brought out some 1.5 million people nationwide and 1,200 in Lakeport. Organizers expect even larger numbers this time noting that the number of planned events around the country exceed those that took place in June.

Indivisible Lake County CA co-founder Gary Maes emphasized that “we
are firmly dedicated to the peaceful and respectful exercise of the people’s
rights to free expression in the public square.”

Where: 255 N.Main St, Lakeport (Old Courthouse Museum Park)

When: NOON (12pm to 2pm) October 18, 2025.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
